The Castle Star sits on the hillside just below Jabal al-Qal'a, where Amman began. Walk down to the Roman Theatre and the souks of Al-Balad, or up to the Temple of Hercules. Then come back for the view.
Inside you'll find handmade wooden bunks, painted doors and murals, a lounge full of plants, and a kitchen you can actually cook in. Plenty of guests end up extending their stay.

How do I get here from the airport?
We can arrange a private car from Queen Alia International Airport for 25 JD. Going back, a car to the airport is 20 JD. Just add it to your WhatsApp message. On a budget? Take the Sariyah Express bus to Tabarbour station, then a short taxi to us.
Can I pay by card?
Payment is in cash at the property. There are ATMs and money changers a few minutes' walk away in Downtown, and the desk can help with currency exchange.
Is there a women-only dorm?
Yes. The 6-bed female dorm has privacy curtains and personal lockers for every bed.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes, for a small extra charge: local favourites with vegetarian and halal options, plus juice, pancakes, cheese and fruit. You're also welcome to cook in the shared kitchen.
Can you help with tours?
Yes. We arrange day trips by private car, from Jerash (40 JD) to Wadi Rum and Petra in one day (150 JD). Prices are for the whole car, so you can share with other guests. See all trips and prices.
